I've had many consultant-like incarnations over the years: ESL teacher to corporations in Japan, Communications and Marketing and now in Design Thinking and Innovation Facilitation (yeah, I'm that old).
And based on all my experience, I can safely say the, "I like, I wish, I wonder" loop is one of the best and quickest ways to collect important, relevant and positively-framed (as in shouldn't send you into a blind rage) feedback. You can use this in meetings, post-workshop or even when you're pitching a family vacation idea to your apathetic teens! ;)
